Behind Once Upon a Closet is a mum of three — one handsome little boy and two beautiful princesses, Aurora and Ariel. 👑
The idea for Once Upon a Closet began with my girls and my wish to make them feel like princesses every single day.
My youngest daughter, Ariel, was born with Down syndrome, and she has taught our family so much about embracing individuality, celebrating differences and finding beauty in the things that make us unique.
Through my experience with Ariel, I wanted to create beautiful dresses that weren’t just magical, but also comfortable, flexible and easy for little girls to move and play in.
I wanted a dress that could make a little girl feel like a princess while still allowing her to be completely herself. ✨
What started as a dream for my own girls has grown into Once Upon a Closet Boutique — a small Australian business created with love, for little girls who love to dream, twirl and make magical memories.
Whether it’s a birthday, a special occasion, a dress-up day or simply an ordinary day that deserves a little extra sparkle, I hope our dresses make your little one feel just as special as my girls do in theirs. 🎀
